Ode to Chuck Klosterman...

I pass the time while on the bus reading essays about pop culture by Chuck Klosterman. If I could have lunch or dinner with anyone living, it would be him. I am sure he is my literary soul mate. Yes, I am a nerd.

Not that its important...

I don't know if I have mentioned this before...

Last weekend, Sara (my coworker) and a few of us went to dinner and a club for her 27th birthday... It was a blast. One of the funnest times I have had in a real long time. Plus, having 8 drinks wasn't bad either.

Here is a picture... I need to start working out soon. *ugh*

You see giant proclamations are all very well but our love is louder than words///

Song of the Day: Bloc Party> Sunday

Alone this weekend. Never any fun, really. I should be doing some class work for my English class. I could read the book that I need to. I should write that paper that is due on Thursday. I should do a lot of things. I just don't really feel like it.

Paul is coming back from Los Angeles later today. I have to pick him up. At 10 pm tonight. I need gas first... And I am completely broke. My last $140 went to paying my car registration. Stupid State of California!

What's been going on? Not much actually. Relaxing. Crocheting... or trying to. Cutting up bags to make somethings with. Getting old photos off my cell phone... and doing the same to my old phone. I forgot I had so many of them.

Went over to see Mom and Dad last night. Had some BBQ and watched a movie that my Dad had bought. Dad bought a drum kit the other day. Its in the garage currently. I tried it out. And I enjoyed it. It seems like something that I could actually enjoy doing (since on the guitar my fingers are a little too small for the fret board).

Just another lazy Sunday.

When I was in Harvard I smoked weed everyday... I cheated every test & snorted all the yay///

Song of the Day: The Lonely Island> Natalie's Rap (ft. Natalie Portman & Chris Parnell)

Almost done with another plastic bag-bag. I just need more plastic grocery bags to make special color combinations.

Tomorrow is English class again. I need to finish writing that essay by Thursday.

Paul isn't going to Los Angeles this weekend after all.

In the strangest fashion... you start a chain reaction///

Song of the day: Mute Math> Noticed

So, I am currently packing things up for the big move to St. George. What a way to spend my vacation! Anyways, I have been listening to Pandora and heard a song by Mute Math that I love so much... Enjoy!

Careful - when you open
it's easy to be broken
In the strangest fashion
you start a chain reaction

You look my way- something's bounding her way
& I wonder if I ever felt this before
& all this time oblivious
to what you make so obvious
I can't believe I never noticed my heart before...

You are reaching for something that is beating
I can't believe I never noticed my heart before
Over & again, racing out of my skin
I can't believe I never noticed my heart before

At least until I never noticed

You & Your ways
capture what I've misplaced
In the perfect fashion
Just watch my heart's reaction
This point of view is nothing that I'm used to
& I won't close my eyes cause they're onto you

All this time it was staring me blind
I can't believe I never noticed my heart before
You are reaching for something that is beating
I can't believe I never noticed my heart before
Over & again, racing out of my skin
I can't believe I never noticed my heart before
Atleast until I never nooticed you

Waoooooohhh....ooohhhh...

The only time I ever noticed my heart
Is when I noticed you
The only time I ever noticed my heart
Is when I noticed you

You are reaching for something that is beating
I can't believe I never noticed my heart before
Over & again, racing out of my skin
I can't believe I never noticed my heart before

We like the boom and don't you forget it///

Song of the day: L'Trimm> The Cars That Go Boom

I loved this song when I was in the 6th grade... It holds a special spot in my heart. I think of an old friend I had that I haven't seen in a while.

Only 3 hours stand in my way of going home to relax. I am lucky that I live so close to work (its roughly less then 5 miles away) . Well, I guess it doesn't help that it takes me about 30 minutes to get home during rush hour traffic. But that time does make for some interesting people watching and listening to the mp3 player. I used to watch videos on my mp3 player... But that became too risky when traffic became more and more unpredictable.

from the ipod touch...

Song of the day: death from above 1979> black history month

I had something interesting to post earlier that I was actually looking forward to writing about but that idea has come and gone. The sad thing about this whole thing is that "said topic" really made me happy. Ugh.

Minus 10 points for me.

One more day till the weekend. (thank you jebus)

Tonight is the premier of The Office. Every night, another TV show to keep me sane for one more day.

I think I am done ranting

[edit]
I think the roommate ate my green beans. And that makes me a little upset. Not because I wanted to eat them (which, I wanted to do anyways because green beans are my all time favorite) but because I spend my hard earned money on food for Paul and myself and I know he didn't buy them or his grandma.

Ugh.

Mom and Dad's 25th wedding anniversary is tomorrow (5/28/83)...
Going out to dinner on Saturday...
Need to take Miss Poppy to get her new set of rabies shots Saturday as well...
Can't wait for the weekend to come around again...

3 more days to go.

So what's your name, Icy?

Just a random post to keep me sane till 5pm comes rolling around.

So,
I was looking at maxim.com of their list of "Today's Girls" and I have to admit, some of those girls are smokin' hottt... I can proudly admit that. Here are the ones that are my personal favorite:

-Aisha Tyler (loved her when she was on The Soup and on CSI)
-Dita Von Teese (what is not to love about her?)
-Julie Benz (from Dexter & Jawbreaker)
-Kat Von D (tattooed girls... Who doesnt like that?)
-Natalie Portman (probably my all time favorite female actress of all time)
-Penelope Cruz (Spanish pride!)
-Rose McGowan (from the Grindhouse films and Jawbreaker with Julie Benz)
-Catherine Zeta-Jones (gor-geous!)
-Salma Heyek (another gorgeous Latina!)

just to name a few.

Dare to dream... daretodream.

Goodbye to you///

Each day, I am looking more and more forward to the wonderful 3 day weekend ahead of me. I don't know what I am gonna do, but knowing that I don't have to wake up early for just one day is more then worth it. I think I should make a list of things I could/ should do...

-Finish editing the photos I have on my camera and putting them in to one complete album online. (I mentioned the other day that I have 4 different online photo albums... It would be nice to merge them to one complete and organized album)
-Clean out my room like going through the closet and getting rid of old things/ clothes. (I have noticed that I am starting projects and not finishing them, thus the clutter begins/ forms in different parts of the apartment.)
-Go for a bike ride somewhere off the river. (I had a patient tell me a few weeks ago that there were some nice bike trails that can take me from my apartment, which is on one side of the river, and lead me into Downtown, the other side of the river)
-Work on my plants/ garden on the patio.
-Take the recycling to get some extra money (and get them out of the patio closet, which is full now)
-Get the new couch from Paul's Aunt Marsha & Uncle Larry's home and take out the old beaten up one out of the house.

I know there is more, I just can't think of them all.
