You are all I need...

Nothing says "I love you"
then a stupid heart-shaped steak...
God-Bless you, Safeway Market!

Ah, tomorrow is Valentines Day. Oh Joy. In the past, I used to hate this day unless I happened to be with someone (Yeah, I know that DOES sound shallow, but it is the truth). Paul & I are gonna try to keep the day pretty low key... or as close to as possible.

We are gonna spend the night in mostly because we are: 1) on a budget (It's not like I am living off pennies a day, but I can think of much more to spend $50 on instead of an over priced meal that I can make at home for a fraction of the cost), 2) not keen on the idea of spending the night (a weekday, mind you... Hello, Thursday) at some silly resturant with people who are only there cause they think they need to be there, again, I would rather be at my own home with my loved ones... & the cats), 3) not that big on celebrating Valentines Day anyways (well, Paul isn't but I like to do little things... try to not go over board) and 4) we both have class that night.... Yep, that's right. I have a stupid test that I know I am gonna fail.

Anyways, we are gonna have a nice steak dinner (which Paul said that he would make for me since I am terrible at it) with home made mashed potatoes, steamed green beans and garlic French bread. I like cooking, I just don't do it enough to constitute that I am any good.

I bought Paul a nice little card (It's a Snoopy one too which is funny cause I totally forgot that Snoopy is a Beagle... I just thought it was a cute picture of him & Charlie Brown) and I also made him some Chocolate Covered Strawberries. The last time I had made this for anyone, they turned out like little shit balls and I am not sure if that person even ate them. Eh, fuck it. The ones I made today look so nice & almost professional like. I put them into 2 candy boxes & decorated the outside with corny heart stickers. I like how the turned out & I hope that he will like them when he opens the fridge in the morning. I am a very lucky girl to have a boy like him in my life. That is the moral of this rant... Bryan Adams said it best: "Everything I do, I do it for you." <3>I had another interview today during my lunch break. It was for another Chiropractic office in the Midtown/ Downtown area. I know the Doctor too (Dr. Darrick had to borrow some HICFA billing forms to do a mass billing & called this Dr. to borrow some of those forms). I hope I am a shoe in for the job. I just hope that if I did get this one, that it won't be as stressful as I am currently. But, only time will tell on this one. I have a lot of experience, too. The other place I went to on Monday (it was a financial planning company), the lady who interviewed me said that she wanted to see me again (which was the most promising thing that I have heard in a long time. She said that she would call me back some time this week to meet again, but so far, I have not heard from her. At this point, I am keeping my fingers crossed and I know that life can't get worse from here... It can only get better :)
